Casey-Potter Building
1909
The sender of this postcard has jokingly added some decorations! This is the Casey-Potter Building, which still stands today in Aitkin and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was built in 1902. It was also known as the "Washington Block." The horse-drawn water wagon was necessary to keep the dust down. See the advertisement for the Casey Company on the horses' sheets?
